Bee and Lavender – online tuition

If you feel that you never have time for watercolours and struggle to get motivated – have a go at this Bumble Bee and French Lavender. The 16 minute video will demonstrate a painting from start to finish is one go…and hopefully show that you that you can squeeze a little watercolour painting into a busy day with just a few materials.

Palette
These are the colours I have used (mainly Daler Rowney). The Daler Rowney Lemon Yellow mixes a nice green with the ultramarine blue. Other Lemon Yellows may not behave quite the same.

Burnt Sienna
Ultramarine Blue
Permanent Mauve
(Titanium White)

Watercolour paper (I use Saunders Waterford 300gsm NOT)
Round brushes 10, 6, 2 and a rigger brush.
