“Light as a feather”
Letting go with watercolour is where the magic can happen in painting feathers. By letting the colours merge wet-in-wet, watercolour is a magical for the subject. My painting from 2017 depicts pheasant tail feathers and the colours give an autumnal, countryside feel.
